The election workers in Multnomah County used to have to inspect each ballot individually before scanning, costing the county valuable time and resources. But no more.
Since implementing Clear Ballot, Multnomah has been able to change their processes to be more efficient. The scanning technology paired with the high resolution digital imaging software allows Multnomah to send ballots directly to the scanner without the timely inspection process that was previously required. Multnomah has also virtually eliminated the ballot duplication process, which is now done digitally with the Clear Ballot adjudication tool, reducing ballot review by 94%.
