When Miami County was looking to update their in-person voting system in 2019, they chose Clear Ballot's ClearVote system for its innovative Vote Visualization software and the level of transparency that the system provided to election stakeholders. Once the system was in place, the easy-to-use software and hardware made setting up an election more efficient for the Miami County team and their poll workers.

"It’s very intuitive. The physical equipment is very user friendly for poll workers. It makes processes smoother, quicker, and more accurate. Being able to  know that individual ballots were counted accurately adds a lot of peace of mind. On the front end, with ClearDesign, one of the things that we’ve started working on has been election templates, which makes everything quicker. Once we start working on a database, we just switch out data that has changed such as candidates and precincts but all of the formatting and ballot design is done. We’re done with ballot design in an hour now. ”

Since adopting the system, Miami County has continued to use ClearVote's tools to ensure they are running accurate, transparent elections while working collaboratively with fellow Clear Ballot partners in Ohio and local customer success team members to share best practices and tips.
