With nearly 20 years of election experience, Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Tim Bobanic understands the importance of conveying accuracy and trust to his constituents. After calls for increased election transparency in recent years, Supervisor Bobanic knew it would be necessary to clearly show voters in Brevard County that they could be sure their votes were cast accurately.
In 2021, Brevard County partnered with Clear Ballot to conduct independent and automated audits of its certified voting system after every election. “This allowed us to conduct a 100% audit of every race, precinct, and ballot in every single election. In 2022, we had over 7.9 million voted ovals across 534,751 ballot pages, and what Clear Ballot showed was a 99.992% accuracy between the certified voting system and the automated independent audit system,” said Bobanic.
